The Challenge
Simplifying the Complex for Jet Owners
Advocate Consulting operates in a highly technical niche: managing the federal tax, state tax, and FAA regulations for private aircraft. Their previous digital presence struggled to convey how their unique “TLC” (Tax, Legal, Compliance) model worked.
They needed a “custom-made” website that could serve two distinct functions: a Marketing Tool to explain their flat-fee value proposition to new owners, and a Utility Hub for existing clients to access flight logs and compliance portals without friction.
Key Obstacles:
- ✕ Information Density: The sheer volume of tax codes and FAA regulations threatened to clutter the design. We used “accordion” layouts and clean iconography to hide complexity until the user requested it.
- ✕Dual Audience: The site had to appeal to both technical pilots (who need log access) and aircraft owners (who care about tax savings).
- ✕ Trust Factors: In an industry rife with “consultants,” we needed to visually reinforce that Advocate is a licensed Law Firm with CPA capabilities.
The Strategy
“TLC” Visual Hierarchy
We restructured the site’s navigation to mirror their core philosophy: Tax, Legal, and Compliance. By creating distinct visual silos for each pillar, we allowed users to immediately find the specific solution they needed (e.g., “State Tax Exemptions”) without wading through unrelated legal text.
Custom Portal Integration
A key requirement was integrating the firm’s proprietary Flight Log Portal. We designed a seamless login experience directly from the homepage, treating the website not just as a brochure, but as the “cockpit” for the client’s relationship with the firm.
Educational Authority
We built a dynamic “Resources” engine to house their extensive library of white papers and video tutorials. This design prioritizes “Education First,” establishing Advocate as the helpful expert rather than just a service provider, which is critical for high-net-worth trust building.
